Group of Dancers
Description
The sculpture depicts a group of six dancers, three men and three women, standing on a half circular pedestal. The men are playing drums. All of them shown heavily ornamented with earrings and necklaces; Men are wearing horned headgears topped by feathers, while women have their hair tied in tiny buns at the back. Their attire and hairstyle resemble those of the folk people of Chhattisgarh.
