Vithoba and Rakhumai
Description
Vithoba, known by various names like Vitthala, Panduranga, Pandharnath, Hari and Narayan, is a popularly worshipped deity in states of Maharashtra and Karnataka. He is typically depicted standing on a brick in akimbo posture, often accompanied by his consort Rukmini or Rakhumai.
In this sculpture Vithoba and Rakhumai stands on a rectangular platform with their hands resting on their waist. Both the images are adorned with jewellery.
