Day 2: 29th January 2023, Sunday 11 am to 12 pm -The Story Grove- Ages 2+   Suno Sunaao by Lovleen Misra (Hindi) Come, listen to some funny, whacko poems in Hindi. And then try writing a few too! 11 am to 12 pm -Far far away- Ages 7+   My DAADI Strongest by Timira Gupta This is a session in which we read a curated bunch of stories which celebrate the special relationshiop between children and their grandparents. 12 pm to 1 pm -Outside our window- Ages 7+   Sita's Chitwan - Not Just a Walk in Nepal's First by Vaishali Shroff Walk the Talk: Stop! Look! Join Sita and I as we walk, pause, look, marvel, and discover the joys in nature around us together. 11:30 am to 1 pm -The Stage- Ages 10 +   Story Therapy Workshop by Aaditya Vijay Jadhav It is a book about Frog and Toad and their adventures. 12 pm to 1 pm -The Curious Garden- Ages 7+   At-Pat Nagar Tales by Ulka Mayur (Hinglish) A storytelling performance filled with dance, drama and music presents feel-good, fun and positivity-affirming folktales about two feisty women who live in a fictional town of At-Pat Nagar. 1 pm to 1.30 pm Lunch Break 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm -The Curious Garden- Ages 4 +   Who's Afraid of Z, not me! by Lubaina Bandukwala A ball, an accident, a spilt cup of coffee and Z is gone! Who cares about Z anyways? Turns out someone does. Find out who in this quirky zany storytelling of a quirky zany story. 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm -The Story Grove- Ages 2+   Storytelling by Preeti Vyas from Amar Chitra Katha Narration of amazing stories from the Amar Chitra Katha books. 2:30 pm to 4: 00 pm -Outside Our Window- Ages 7+   Workshop by Gayathri Chandrasekaran & Vineet Nair from Amar Chitra Katha A fun, interactive comic-making workshop. Participants will learn about different elements that make a comic—story, dialogues, art, etc. and how they can make a comic of their own. 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm -Far Far Away - Ages 2+   Dungy Saves the Day by Manisha Bhise A story about the organic helpers of soil. 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm -The Stage- Ages 7+   The Miracle on Sunderbaag Street by Nandita da Cunha A heartwarming story, about how a young girl, Zara, inspires her neighbourhood to get together and transform an old dump-yard into a beautiful green space. 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm -The Story Grove- Ages 2+   The Mystery of the Missing Birthday Cake by Katie Bagli The Mystery of the Missing Birthday Cake is sure to win over the hearts of kids for its puzzling and thrilling story, adventure and attractive illustrations. 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm -Museum Galleries- Ages 7+   Workshop by Gitanjali Chandrashekharan A collaborative story creation workshop 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm -Outside our window- Ages 5+   Pattan's Pumpkin by Misbah Ali An Indian Flood tale of Pattan's Pumpkin that grows as tall as a mountain. 6.30 pm to 7:30 pm -The Stage - Ages 3+   Puppet Show- 'Nani Ki Kahani' Puppet Nani tells a story about an old woman who lives in a jungle, and about the cold night that didn't let her sleep! A story filled with animals and a mischievous thief. But it's also filled with messages of love, compassion, kindness, sharing and co-existence. Walk-around and shadow puppets make this enchanting tale a great hit among children and parents!
A potpourri of classical tales, folktales, fantasies, ghost stories, fairy tales, sci-fi and many more twisted tales with authors, cartoonists, comic artists, poets, editors, illustrators, storytellers, puppeteers and explore different genres, characters, plotlines and settings through fun and engaging workshops, family programs, artist interactions, demonstrations, book readings, theatre and drama.
