Nandita is a cultural entrepreneur, and an independent curator of Indian Folk Art, Crafts and Performances, with a strong international and grassroots network. She creates cutting-edge functional applications using traditional skills to address contemporary social needs. Her work helps regenerate the crafts as well as provide sustainable livelihood for the artisan. She has been the Chairperson-Trustees on the board of India Foundation for the Arts headquartered in Bangalore, and is now an advisor. She has been a Trustee and member of various other eminent committees working with the arts and crafts.
