Decoding Family History through Archives, Oral History, Objects, and More
CSMVS in association with Archival Matter will host a two-day workshop to take you through how to approach family history – your own or someone else’s.
Often a complex web of memory, bias, fractured information, and family histories, if approached methodically, can be extremely rich and insightful for the history of the family and the larger history of a certain time.
This unique workshop will be a combination of lectures, conversations and hands-on making of a zine/booklet for each participant.
