Guidelines
We look forward to welcoming you to CSMVS! Your health and safety are our top priorities. Please be assured that CSMVS follows the guidelines issued by the State Government of Maharashtra.
So that the Museum can safely remain open, we require that all visitors follow the guidelines outlined below. By visiting in person, you agree to abide by these polices, and CSMVS reserves the right to ask visitors who do not follow these guidelines to leave the Museum’s premises.
- In accordance with the guidelines issued by the Maharashtra State Government, visitors above 18 years of age are requested to show that they have been FULLY VACCINATED (completion of 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine) by providing Universal Pass or CoWin Certificate to the Museum security.
- The Museum requires face coverings for all visitors age 2 and older, even if you are vaccinated. You will not be permitted inside the Museum without a face covering. Additionally, face coverings must be worn for the duration of your visit.
- Visitors who cannot display their proof of vaccination are welcome to enjoy the Museum’s virtual offerings.
- Physical distancing is required; visitors should stay at least six feet (about two arms’ length) from others and from groups.
- Please do not touch the artwork, frames, platforms, labels, display cases, or anything used to protect the art.
- Help prevent the spread of germs by washing your hands often with soap and water for at least twenty seconds and by not touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Please cover your cough. Hand sanitizer is also available at entrances and at stations throughout the Museum.
- Most importantly, if you or anyone you live with has COVID-19 symptoms please stay at home.
- An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit to the CSMVS. Those visiting CSMVS do so at their own risk of such exposure.
