Description

From the debris in the forecourt of Cave 4.

This sculpture too is fragmentary, the musical instrument has survived almost in its entirety. The instrument, held by a youth against his right shoulder, has seven strings emanating from an elliptical gourd with a curved handle at one end, to which are tied the strings. The youth has a conch-shaped knot of hair on head.
