Incense burner
Description
Japanese circular bronze incense-burner; globular body having two panels decorated with inlaid and raised floral, peacock and other bird designs; the rim has an engraved floral scroll design. The lid with pierced and engraved floral design is surmounted with the figure of fabulous animal with long snout; two floral inlaid work handles are attached to the neck and body.
