Kameshvara and Kameshvari
Description
This is a depiction of Shiva in the form of Kameshvara (lord of desires) with Kameshvari, his consort. The lower half of the painting depicts Kartikeya, Ganesha and others. The style of this painting is unique as paintings from Shorapur are an eclectic combination of various elements drawn from painting idioms of Karnataka, Maharashtra and the historic Deccan.
