Description
The painting depicts an elaborate, robust, rendering of Shiva’s Tandava (the cosmic dance). The prabhavali or halo is particularly striking. The background is occupied by a group of deities and other celestials watching in awe. In the foreground are the Gods Aiyappan, Ganesha and
Subramanya. An expanse of water teeming with life enlivens the bottom of the painting.
इस कलाचित्र में शिव को अपनी १६ भुजाओं के साथ नृत्य मुद्रा में दिखाया गया है। उनकी प्रभावली खासतौर से ध्यान आकर्षित करती है। पृष्ठभूमि में स्वर्ग के देवी-देवताओं को विस्मय से उन्हें देखते हुए दिखाया गया है। अग्रभूमि में अयप्पन, गणेश और सुब्रमण्य दिखाई दे रहे हैं। चित्र के नीचे, जीवन से ओतप्रोत पानी का विस्तार परिवेश को जीवंत बना देता है।
