Parthasarathi
Description
Worship of Krishna as Parthasarathi (the charioteer of Partha or Arjuna) came into practice as a consequence of the teachings in the Bhagvadagita. The impressive image of Parthasarathi occupies the central space in this painting. A donor couple in white robes has been accommodated in the left corner of the painting.
पार्थसारथी (पार्थ अर्थात अर्जुन के रथ के सारथी) के रूप में कृष्ण की पूजा में भगवदगीता की शिक्षा का प्रभाव दिखाई देता है। इस चित्र के केंद्र में पार्थसारथी की प्रभावशाली छवि है। चित्र के बाएं कोने में सफेद वस्त्रों में एक दम्पत्ति को अपने कुलदेवता या ईष्टदेव को चढ़ावा देते दिखाया गया है।
