Description

Such horn coverings made of metals are used to decorate bulls on festivals of Pola or Bendur in Maharashtra and Karnataka. On this festival the bulls are elaborately decorated with different ornaments like necklaces with bells and horn decorations. Their backs are covered with beautiful textiles or many a times their bodies are decorated with paintings in turmeric.
