The Emergence of Lakshmi
Description
Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth is shown emerging from the churning of the ocean. To the left, Parvati is attempting to prevent Shiva from drinking the poison (halahal) that emerged from the ocean. On the right, Vishnu disguised as Mohini is preventing the demons from drinking the nectar of immortality (Amrit).

इस चित्र में धन-संपदा की देवी लक्ष्मी को क्षीरसागर मंथन से प्रकट होते दिखाया गया है। बाईं ओर पार्वती शिव को समुद्र से निकले हलाहल विष को पीने से रोक रही हैं, जबकि दाईं ओर विष्णु मोहिनी का रूप धारण करके असुरों को मंथन से निकले अमृत को पीकर अमर होने से रोक रहे हैं।
