Description

Thighbone trumpet is said to produce a sound that is pleasing to the wrathful deities, but terrifying to all evil spirits. It is an
attribute of yoginis and siddhas. Possession of the thighbone trumpet symbolises control over the three realms. The
thighbone trumpet is used in rituals of exorcism and weather control. Such trumpets are never used in festivals.
