इस कलाचित्र में विरहोत्कंठित (विरह में तड़पती) नायिका का मोहक चित्रण है। नायिका अपने प्रेमी से मिलन की आस में सजी-संवरी और उत्कंठ दिखाई दे रही है। और अपने प्रेमी या नायक के न आने के कारण, वह खुलेआम अपनी परेशानी, दुःख और असंतोष को दर्शाती है ।
