Vishnu and Lakshmi
Description
This image shows Vishnu and Lakshmi seating on a high pedestal. Vishnu is seated in Lalitasana with Lakshmee seating on his left lap. Vishnu's right hand is in abhaya mudra (gesture of reassurance).
Both are adorned with simple necklaces, armlets, and anklets. Vishnu is shown with makarakundala (long earrings in the shape of a crocodile) and a tall crown. Lakshmi is holding Vishnu on his right shoulder and she is holding a lotus bud in her left hand. She is shown wearing a nine-yard saree and her hair is tied in an ambada (hair bun).
