All of us have memories linked with objects that used to be a part of the mundane. Although our
present has changed, the memories have stayed and so have the objects, to tell the stories of
the past. Writing with fountain pens staining everything around it, waiting for the radio to play the
latest bollywood songs and running behind the Kulfiwala’s ghanta; all of it evokes the chain of
time and experiences that have passed. Our day-to-day was made of so many materials,
touched by so many hands, which connected lives together. The same objects now bring to us a
tapestry of memories and conversations, reeling the black and white film of our childhoods and
youths, bringing us together under the roof of ‘Remember When…?’ regardless of where we

come from.
